The lockout bar is fastened to the safety switch CEM-C40. If the cover plate is in the rotated position, the anchor plate cannot be attracted by the actuator even when the solenoid is energized. If the lockout bar is activated, the safety outputs are not switched even when the door is closed. The lockout bar can be secured using 3 padlocks. The activated lockout bar prevents, e.g., maintenance personnel from being unintentionally locked in the danger area. The lockout bar does not possess a safety function.
